SWEET SCRAPS

My dear friend, Rosa, sent me these sweet scraps to start my first block of Harrington and Hannah.  Oh, I see a snowman nose there, a hat, scarf, heart, etc.  These are such soft fluffy wools.  They do wool right in Canada!  And look at the cool Canadian stamps.  Neat-o.

Rosa, you are so kind and generous!  Can I send you some Florida sunshine in return?

Nice score Pat. One of my granddaughter's was surfing in Destin yesterday. It's also pretty nice this weekend in California.

Ooooo, so much fun to get squishies in the mail! Can't wait to see how you decide to stitch H&H bunnies. I think this will be a darling quilt!

I'm planning to work on Harrington & Hannah, too! I've got a stash of felted wool left over from my online store and now need to figure out where to squeeze this project in each week. Have fun with block 1. ~ Debbie

ANY kind of sunshine would be much appreciated, Pat!

*grin*

Can't wait to see your finished block!

In fact, you're blog post was just the kick-in-the-butt that I needed to start mine! LOL

Oh... BTW, last year... or was that the year before?? Canada Post came out with these stamps.

You know how some places have HUGE statues in their city or community?

Well, if you google these places and/or items, you'll be able to find a HUGE "Happy Rock" in Gladstone, Manitoba, for example... *s*
